Weekend (9 AM to 12 PM or 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM) and weekday (1:30 PM to 4:30 PM) lessons are available.  All prices are for one-on-two (or in some cases, one-on-one) lesson, including all kite & board equipment except for personal stuff (proper clothing, foot wear, wet suit,  bootie, helmet, gloves, padding, etc.).

All kitesurfing, kiteskiing and kitesnowboarding lessons from VL Kites are guaranteed that the students will be able to get on the board/ski and go both directions for at least 10m at the end of the lesson; otherwise, more sessions will be offered to the students free of charge.  VL Kites lessons are based on the KTM methods and more details can be found at http://kitesurfingschool.org/ktm.htm

Winter Lessons (From Dec 15th to March 31st - 3.5 months):

• Kiteskiing lesson:

  • 2 days (3 hours each day)

  • $295 CAD per person (the students need to bring their personal stuff: skis, boots, helmets, gloves, goggle, etc.)

   

• Kitesnowboarding lesson:

  • 2 days (3 hours each day)

  • $295 CAD per person (the students need to bring their personal stuff:  snowboards, boots, helmets, gloves, goggle, padding, etc.)

   

• Kiteskiing/Kitesnowboarding lesson plus new equipment (kite, bar, harness):

  • $1495 CAD per person

  • The student will get a new 2008 11m Best Waroo kite, lines and bar, Best harness at the end of the lesson (heavier students may want to upgrade to larger kite sizes)

   

Summer Lessons (From May 15th to Oct 15th - 5 months):

• Kitesurfing lesson:

  • 3 days (3 hours each day)

  • $495 CAD per person (the students need to bring their own wet suit, booties, helmet, gloves)

   

• Kitesurfing lesson plus new equipment (kite, bar, board, harness):

  • 3 days (3 hours each day)

  • $2295 CAD per person

  • The student will get a new 2008 Best Waroo 11m kite, lines, bar, Best  Ouija board complete with fins, footpads, foot-straps and Best harness at the end of the lesson (heavier student may want to upgrade to larger kite sizes).

   

• Complementary kitesurfing lesson:

  • 1 day (3 hours) complementary kitesurfing lesson (for those who has learned at least 2 days of kiting lesson): $180 CAD per person (the students need to bring their own wet suit, booties, helmet, gloves, etc.
    

Advance, Instructor and Private Lessons:

• Advance Kitesurfing Lesson:

  • 1 day (3 hours)

  • $180 CAD per person

  • The student will learn how to go upwind and jumping

   

• Kitesurfing Trick Lesson:

  • 1 day (3 hours)

  • $180 CAD per person

  • The student will learn 2 or 3 of the following tricks:

    • High jump

    • One hand jump

    • Landing

    • Grab

    • Spin

    • Board-off

    • Invert

    • Kiteloop

    • etc.

     

• Instructor Lesson:

  • 3 days (3 hours each day)

  • Learn and practice (assist an instructor in a real-life lesson) to become an instructor

  • $495 CAD per person

  • Will get KTM Instructor Certificates from VLKites

   

• Private lessons are available ($65 CAD per hour).
