Game Terbaik: Pokémon World Championships 2023 di Yokohama
Since 2004, the Pokémon World Championships have been held in various cities every year. The event’s location was limited to North America until last year in London, and finally, this year the event returned to Japan. Typically, the event is confined to convention centers where the matches take place, but The Pokémon Company presented a grand celebration in the surrounding city of Yokohama this year, which turned into a big celebration for this beloved brand.
In the PACIFICO Yokohama Convention Center, the competition headquarters, there are “regular” decorations celebrating Pokémon, including banners and photo opportunities throughout the corridors, a fake field resting area complete with cherry blossom trees, and a themed main stage adorned with landmarks from Yokohama, Japan.
However, there are many other things offered by this event this year apart from inside the event center itself – the iconic Ferris wheel in the Yokohama skyline flashes with Pokémon graphics; Pokémon statues and giant replica Pokémon cards can be found in the park and mall, and there are plenty of opportunities for Pokémon photo sessions. There is even a map of all the Pokémon opportunities around the city to help fans catch them all. It is just a semi-permanent installation.
Before the main event, we witnessed a beautiful symphony celebrating Pokémon and the championship, and throughout the week there were many Pikachu meetings, parades, drone shows, stage performances, and much more. We watched a musical stage performance called “Imagination” featuring Pikachu, Lucario, Cinderace, Zeraora, and Greninja dancing with human dancers in a show that reminded us of performances at Disney Park.

Dan Worlds datang ke sini untuk pertama kalinya, kami menyadari bahwa permintaan untuk berada di lantai pertunjukan … akan melebihi kapasitas jumlah penggemar yang dapat diakomodasi.”
“I can only accommodate 10,000 to 15,000 people here. So the question arises, ‘How do we bring the world to 100,000 people? How do we ensure that as many people as possible can experience a little bit of the Worlds, even if they cannot come here?'”
The Pokémon Company collaborated with the city of Yokohama to create numerous displays and activities featuring Pokémon.
“Kali ini mungkin kami telah melakukan banyak hal, karena kami semua sangat ber
